An overview of our most important information:
Temporary Exhibitions and Guided Tours: Opening hours, guided tours, openings and workshops can be found on each museum’s website. Guided tours outside regular opening hours are available on request. Find an overview of our current exhibitions here.
Children: Children and teenagers under the age of 16 get free admission to all museums (excluding Technorama). Many of our museums offer a special program for kids.
Public Transport: Museum Pass holders are entitled to use the city’s public transport services (Stadtbus Winterthur Zone 120) for free. Bus tickets for children over the age of 6 must be bought separately. All museums are within reach of the city busses, exceptions are the castles: Kyburg and Mörsburg.
Museum Bus: Travelling with the Museum Bus is included in the Museum Pass. Regular travel fee cost (without the Museum Pass): CHF 5.- return ticket. Check the time table here.
Tourist Information: The tourist information point, located by Winterthur main station, is where you will not only find the Museum Pass available and get information on all our current exhibitions, it will also provide you with suggestions and ideas for that great museum city adventure.
